Disneyland!!!

Oh boy, get ready for picture OVERLOAD, because we went to CALIFORNIA!!!

On the first day of our vacation with Joseph's family we went to DISNEYLAND!!! Other than the masses of people, standing in long lines, the heat, lugging around two girls who had no idea what was going on, and trying to do it ALL in one day, it was so much fun!

Look at the adorable shirts Joseph's Mom made for the young gals. They were so super cute, the girls and the shirts that is :). We got this new sit and stand stroller that we expected Fanny to sit in the back of and Nora up front. Oh no, the minute I had it set up, Fanny jumped up front where she could sit and relax, and Nora jumped in the back where she could easily climb in and out and move around more. Silly girls!

The Castle. I love how her legs are too long for the front seat, but she didn't care one bit.

First ride of the day, The Mad Hatter Tea Party Ride. This was a very monumental moment for Fanny and I. She is generally scared of new things, so I had no idea what to expect when we stepped onto the ride. I was prepared for crying. Oh no, she was LAUGHING, literally, the whole time! I about cried I was so happy that Fanny was enjoying herself. She ended up doing the teacup ride THREE times that day. Yay!! Nora wasn't so sure at first, but then came to love it, too.

The Carousel. Also a favorite of Fanny's. She hated any of the rides that went inside, especially the Alice in Wonderland ride.

Nora loved the carousel. This picture makes me laugh. She looks so apprehensive. When we got off the ride she was screaming because she wanted to do it again :). I don't have a good picture, but one ride Nora really loved was the Whinny the Pooh ride. She was so fascinated by it and kept saying all of the characters names after the ride.

Minnie Mouse was a favorite of both girls. Nora was asleep and woke up just as this picture was taken. She kept saying, "Minnie Mouse! Minnie Mouse!" but I didn't have time to get her up to be in the photo on time. Wish Fanny didn't have a sippy in her mouth :).

The parade was my favorite! The girls loved it, too. It was so much bigger and grander than I expected. Nora was dancing along to all the music and Fanny really enjoyed seeing all the princesses.

What a tiring, but very fun day! Next time we go I want to go during off season and do Disneyland in more than just one day. It was wonderful to be there with Joseph's family, though, and enjoy the "magic" together! Good times. Good times.
