Pumpkin Walk

It was a beautiful day this past Friday. The girls and I went on a "field trip" with some friends to the Pumpkin Walk at the Benson Grist Mill.
Fanny REALLY enjoyed seeing all the pumpkin displays. The theme was Dr. Seuss. She didn't really like that I was trying to take pictures of her, though.
One of my favorites!!
Loved the Cindy-Lou-Who pumpkin and the Grinch's dog, Max, squash!!
A couple more of my favorites. So, they aren't as grand as some other pumpkin displays I've seen in pictures at similar events, but it was totally fun for the girls and I to get out in the middle of the day and do something different. Fanny was so excited about all the various pumpkins!
She even got to decorate a cookie!!! She was in pure heaven!!
Look at that concentration.
"Do I have to eat this work of art?"
"OK, I guess I'll take a little taste."
Nora even got a cookie.
She LOVED it!!!
Doing a little exploring.
Fanny debating on whether or not she should enter the scary pumpkin's mouth to play in the children's hay maze.
