Anthon's 1st Birthday!!!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY ANTHON!!!

I can't believe a year has gone by already! This little one is such a joy in our lives. He is full of smiles, loves dancing to music, enjoys "singing" and "talking," loves to be around his sisters, LOVES to be outside, and is my sweet little cuddle button. Anthon has two teeth on the bottom now and has been working on getting one or more for the past couple weeks. I think we will see one emerging from the top of his mouth any day now :-). He has been walking since right before he turned 11 months old. Anthon is quite a Mama's and Dada's boy. He has a pretty severe case of separation anxiety and is pretty clingy. He is all smiles and enjoys being around other people, but if anyone else other than Joseph and I try to pick him up, he will scream and scream and scream! He loves eating any kind of fruit, enjoys yogurt, and eating whatever we are eating. He does not like very many veggies or grains, throws bread and cereal on the floor if we give it to him, and absolutely hates baby food. He does LOVE ice cream! Just like his Daddy. If someone gets it out he will scream and scream at them until he gets a taste. Silly boy! He enjoys when I read to him very short board books. He loves playing peek-a-boo. He also really seems to like animals and has enjoyed seeing and petting the animals on Papa's and Nana's farm. Unlike the girls at his age, who just screamed bloody murder when getting too close to animals. They are much better now :-). Anthon is also starting to get more hair on top, YAY!!! It is coming in super light blonde. I usually have to rock him to sleep, but he takes a bottle and pacifier well and sleeps through the night, which is super! What a good little boy.

Here are some pictures of Anthon's birthday party. Alicia and I decided to combine our two boys birthday parties together since Trevis was just born 36 hours before Anthon was born. We went with a turtle theme and each made a turtle cupcake cake. They turned out super cute and Anthon sure enjoyed his cupcake!!

Sure love our little sugar bug. He is such a love and I feel super blessed to be his Mommy. Can't wait to see the changes and growth that take place in him over the next year. Happy Birthday Sweet Anthon!
