Update

We have been pretty busy lately preparing to sell our home, planning to build our future home, homeschooling, reaching milestones, and having all kinds of meltdowns, I mean... fun, yeah, all kinds of fun!!! No really, it has been fun. It has just been a lot of work and a lot of time. There have been a few things that have happened in the past couple of months that I wanted to highlight, so I thought I would add some pictures and videos to give a little update.

Anthon is just the sweetest little guy. He is growing so fast. He is now 8 months!!! He is crawling, sitting up, starting to pull himself up, feeding himself small snacks, and gives the most adorable smiles. We can't get enough of this little lover!!

Here are a couple videos of his crawl. I call it the worm crawl because it looks like he is doing the worm dance. He gets up on both hands and lunges forward on his belly. Sometimes he tries to put one hand in front of the other, but he gets around so well this way that he may not get it before he starts walking :-). You'll just have to watch the video. It makes me smile!

Here Anthon is making silly noises with Nora. He likes to experiment with his voice.

Nora is hilarious. She does and says things that make me bust up laughing every day. She is such a little drama girl. I love it! She loves to sing songs from Frozen and other Disney movies. She has an amazing ability to memorize all the words to songs. She is such a little actress belting them out.

Here is a video of Nora singing part of a song from Frozen. One day I'll get her singing "Let It Go" on camera. She gets quite into it with facial expressions and body movements.

Since we are trying to keep the house relatively clean, I asked the girls not to bring any toys in the living room. The only place they can have toys is on the lamp table. Here is a picture of them packing as much as they possible on the end table. Silly girls. They sure know how to utilize the small space they are allotted. Hehehe!

Fanny is such a sharp little beauty. We have had so much fun doing school at home this past year. The masks were something the girls made for a unit I did with them on continents and different places around the world. We were learning about Europe and I had the girls decorate masks to teach them about Venice and carnivals. Fanny is starting to read really well. It is so fun to see her get so excited about something she reads. This girl loves books so much that, instead of going to bed with a stuffed animal, she goes to be with a book :-). Writing is something we are still working on. She writes her name well and certain letters, but is not as interested in writing words in general. She is excellent at tracing them and is content with that for the time being. She especially enjoys little science experiments that we do for fun and really enjoys putting on little cooking shows with her sister.

Fanny has a fascination with the human body. We had a great unit on it back in October and she still talks about it all the time. The other day she got a hold of some tape and decided to play doctor. When I asked her what she was doing she explained that she was bandaging up Summa because she got burnt in a fire.

Here are a couple cute videos of the girls at a Fancy Nancy Ballerina Party at the Tooele library. I love taking them there. They have so many fun activities and things for kids to do. The girls love Fancy Nancy books and dressing up fancy, so this was perfect. It was their first lesson in ballet. I thought they were pretty cute. I love Fanny's enthusiasm when she got to skip to the side of the room in the first video. You can see her anticipation for that moment just before it happens. I love it! Ah, my beautiful girls!
