We took a little field trip to the Pumpkin Walk this past Friday where we met up with Fanny's preschool friends. I'm doing the whole group preschool thing again this year with two of my friends who did it with me last year. I personally thought that there should have been more pumpkin displays at the Pumpkin Walk. It seemed like there weren't nearly as many as last year. Oh well. The girls had a pretty good time, and the theme was right up their alley, "Once Upon a Time..."
Looking up at Rapunzel.
Checking out the Billy Goats Gruff. Fanny and Nora love this story!
There was a little too much going on in this one, but the girls liked the cute princesses!
Checking out the display.
The adorable preschool bunch!
This was AWESOME! Nora got a "tattoo" from a cool biker guy. There was a booth there for BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse). Wonderful organization! Loved them!
Showing me her tattoo. I'm over this way, honey :).
Enjoying a little craft.
It was raining by this point and Fanny just wanted to go home. So she helped herself to the candy she collected from the tent vendors and stayed dry under the stroller's canopy while Nora made a Halloween hat.
All in all it was a fun experience. I don't know why, but I personally enjoyed last year's Pumpkin Walk better. I think Fanny did, too. She got to decorate cookies last year :). This year we walked around and saw the pumpkin displays, the girls played Halloween bingo and both won prizes, and we went around and trick-or-treated at all the vendors. The girls liked that part of it. They are both super excited about Halloween. They have been wanting to wear their costumes, but I won't let them until it is closer to the bewitching hour ;-). They are going to be fairy princesses. We have our Autumn decorations up including pumpkins and corn stalks from our garden this year!! I've also been putting Fall scents in my Scentsy candle. And, to add to that, I have already made some Fall French Macarons (pumpkin spice, salted caramel, and candy corn). I just couldn't resist. I love this time of year!

Okay Arit...those cookies look so nummy. You're going to have to show me how to make them. And the girls are darling.
Those do look yummy, can't wait to try some :)
Oh I love the pictures of the girls, sure miss Miss Fanny in Sunbeams!
I'm with Julie, your cookies look so yummy. I'm thinking that they must take hours and tons of time to make, that's why I'll never make them. I'm a bit on the "lazy" side of the aisle.
Loved the post, and happy belated birthday to Joseph!
