Joseph turned 30!!!!!
He is not going to be happy with me for posting that :). He just never wanted people knowing he was under 30. Oddly, he likes people to think that he is older. I love you, Honey!
Joseph had to go to a meeting on his birthday, so we just had a small celebration as a family. I made him super yummy Parmesan chicken for dinner (his favorite), he blew out a candle on his cupcake, and he opened his presents. To make up for it, I threw him a birthday party with some close friends a few days later. You have to do something fun when you turn 30!
The girls and I got Joseph something he really wanted: a Scosche bluetooth heart rate monitor that connects with an app on his i-phone. He is LOVING it! Lately he has added tabata training to his workouts. They are CRAZY! I keep thinking I might try them, but Insanity sure kicks my butt already. Not sure I need to up the intensity?? I might have to get myself a Scosche Rhythm heart rate monitor, though. It is so awesome!
The cake I made for the party! Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Super sweet, but yum, yum, yum!!! Joseph could eat a whole batter of cookie dough to himself without wanting to ever actually bake some cookies :). Needless to say, he liked the cake.
Just had to add these pictures of the girls. Aren't they cute?! These are cell phone pics, so sorry about the blurriness. Fanny and Nora were super excited to celebrate their Daddy's birthday.
The next pictures have absolutely nothing to do with Joseph's birthday, but I made these for an event recently and thought they were too pretty to not share :).
I love my Joseph so much! We had such a great time celebrating his birthday. Fanny is already asking who's birthday is next...it is actually mine in January :). Don't think I want to make a cake for myself, though, so we'll see what Joseph ends up doing for me...French Macarons??!!!
