Yay!!! Joseph got to be on an episode of NBC's Who Do You Think You Are? with celebrity, Blair Underwood! Joseph's company, Progenealogists (the research division of Ancestry.com), does all the research for the show. Last season Joseph appeared with celebrity, Steve Buscemi. It is so unreal to see my husband on national TV. He did an amazing job. The episode was incredible! I'm so proud of Joseph! He was so natural and calm. Here are some screen shots I took of the episode. I know, I know, I'm a little excited about this, but I just love my husband so dang much and am so thrilled for him. Who ever thought that a genealogist would end up on a hit NBC show?! I hope they ask him to appear again in an episode next season.

Hey, I watched the episode, and you are right - he did great! He was very calm and well-spoken. Plus I think it is so great that he is an example that genealogy is "cool", since he is a young guy. I learned so much from that episode - that Virginia law is CRAZY! So much to know about how records were kept. :) Way to go Joseph, and Arit, you SHOULD be proud!
