FANNY:
This girl has been a riot lately. She is always saying and doing the funniest things. She has a memory like no other!! When I made her princess castle cake for her birthday I watched a Betty Crocker video on www.howdini.com. Fanny became OBSESSED with this video and other cake making videos on the site. She watches them over and over and over again until they are memorized. Then, throughout the day she quotes them while she plays with her toys. "Put the next tier of the castle on..." So cute!!
She is scared of just about EVERYTHING, but she has no problem with heights. When she was younger, she always wanted to get up on the couch and jump off. Now she is into climbing. Here she is when I found her on top of her dresser.:
Fanny wanted to play outside, so I told her to go get socks and shoes. Here is the result:
Wicked witch of the East!
Just some more cute pictures of my sweetie:
Fanny still lines everything up. She loves music and singing. She loves being outside. She has been eating better and only has a bottle at night when she goes to bed (we are working on that). She is still not potty trained (we are working on that, too). She is getting better with "playing" with her sister. She LOVES to help me. When I ask her to do something for me, she gets so excited and laughs. The only thing is, she expects to be highly praised for her assistance, hehe. Fanny has been into comparing things lately. She will often say that something is NOT a certain color, shape, or what-have-you. For example, "That is a red car. No it is not yellow." Fanny does not like to keep her clothes on. I try to put clothes on her in the morning, I even let her pick out something she wants to wear, but before I know it the clothes and diaper are off and she is running around in the nude!! So, if you stop by, don't be surprised if you get mooned =).
The other day when we were outside in our inflatable pool I got a sunburn on my back. My swimsuit straps cross in the the back. This morning when I was getting dressed Fanny looked and my back and said, "That is an X." Yup, she knows her letters alright. I think it is awesome that she picks out letters, numbers, shapes, colors, etc. in the things around her. She sure is a smart girl, and gorgeous, too!! Love my little Fan-a-lan!!
NORA:
Wow!! Where do I start with Nora?? She is doing SOOO much lately. She is such a happy girl!! Seriously, she is pretty easy going, as long as she is fed that is. She is now eating a lot of what we are, cut into very small pieces of course. She LOVES cheese. If I take it out of the fridge she gets angry if I don't give it to her fast enough. There really isn't much this girl won't eat.
Doing a little reading. Um...the book is upside down. I guess it is pretty interesting that way. Nora really enjoys looking at books. She "talks" as if she is reading them when she looks at them.
She has been getting up on all fours lately!! She still prefers to army crawl, though, because she is so dang fast at it.
I love this!! Nora not only gets up on all fours, but likes to get up on her feet in the downward dog yoga position. She tries SOOO hard to stand up from this position.
She will crawl up onto just about anything she can.
And...she pulled herself up the other day!!!!!
I CANNOT believe she is at this stage in development already!! Now she can really get into things!!
She also gets stuck. "Um...a little help please. I got up and I can't get back down again."
"Nope, it wasn't me. I didn't rip up the magazine into tiny little pieces. Do I look like the kind of gal who could create such a mess??"
Nora just loves to use her voice!! She has this REALLY loud squeal that just pierces your eardrums. Here is a cute video of her "talking." Towards the end is a small HINT of the squeal. Sorry, both videos I am posting are kind of long.
Here Nora is dancing again. I know I posted a video of her dancing before, but it is just so cute. She gets into her own little groove and"sings" whenever she hears music or any one of us singing, including Fanny, or whenever she hears her daddy play one of his instruments. I love it!
I sure love my little Nora-lora!! She has a way of brightening a room with her adorable smiles! She is such a giver, too. She loves to hand us things and giggles with joy when we take them from her. I can hardly keep up with her, but I sure can't get enough of her!!

I love all the pictures! Thank you for being a faithful blogger!
You have such a cute family, Arit. And good job preserving these snapshot-memories of what your girls are like at this age. I am always meaning to do that and never quite getting around to it! It's so nice to see your beautiful family!
