Visitor From Israel

Most people are very lucky to have one amazing father. I have been very blessed with THREE in my life!! We just had a wonderful visit from my Dad who lives in Israel!! It was so great to see him after SIX years. It was exactly six years ago that I went to Israel. I cannot express in words how much it meant to us that he came here to the States to see me and to meet Joseph and his beautiful granddaughters for the first time. We had such a wonderful time while he was with us. Here are some of the highlights of his visit in pictures:

Picking Granddad up at the airport:
We went to the Discovery Children's Museum while my Dad was here. The girls LOVED it! Fanny and Nora were fascinated with the balls. They had this big area that had TONS of balls you could put in places that would take them up through tubes and send them down. Hard to explain, but it was FUN!!!
Of course, Fanny wanted to line up the balls.
Nora enjoyed them, too!
Super fun grocery store area:
Granddad checking out Fanny at the register:
Nora LOVED the water area:
We went to Temple Square in Salt Lake City:
Took a few nice walks:
We also went to a Rodeo while my Dad was here. It was super fun! My Dad had never been to one and really enjoyed it. Fanny was not a fan of all the cheering. She would cry EVERY time the crowd would cheer. Not sure how to deal with this one. She is going to have to get used to it because I plan to take the girls to several of Joseph's concerts this summer.
Fun times at church!!
"No pictures please!"
The girls in their pretty dresses Granddad brought them from Israel:
Spending time with his Granddaughters:
Love this picture:
We also took my Dad to Star Valley, Wyoming to spend some time with Joseph's family on the farm. Isn't it so beautiful there this time of year?!
The famous Afton, Wyoming antler arch:
We also went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming while we were there and got to see the bottom to the Grand Teton Mountains. The tops were covered in clouds the day we went =(. We did get to spend some time in the town, though.
Picture of coach taken by my Dad:
Following two pictures taken by my Dad:
We went from beautiful weather to...
...full on snow on the day we left!! Crazy huh??!!! It was fun for my Dad to see, though. It had been a LONG time since he had seen snow!!
Back in Utah one day we went to the Kennecott Copper Mine:
We truly had a wonderful time with my Dad while he was here. I HATE that we live SOOO far away from each other. We miss him so very much already and can't wait for the next time we will be able to get together again. The hope is that we will be able to go to Israel with the girls sometime in the next couple of years.
Love you so much, Dad! Thank you for coming! Your being here meant the world to us and we will cherish the memories always!!
