We Love Spring!

We have been enjoying some beautiful weather here during the past couple of weeks. Fanny wants nothing but to be outdoors playing. The pictures above are from Saturday. Usually I take Fanny in our front yard so she can play in the grass, but when Joseph is out working in the garden, she gets to play in the weeds in our back yard. They grow so crazy and fast around here. Joseph sprayed them this year, so hopefully they will die soon. Fanny really likes to play with the rocks from the area where our shed will go someday. She also enjoys coloring on the steps and concrete with sidewalk chalk. It is fun to watch her explore and discover new things outside.

I forgot to mention it in my last post, since it is more about development than it is about spring time, but Fanny is also starting to pick up on numbers and letters, too. She loves to line things up and will count them (like her rubber duckies on the edge of the bathtub, books, bowls, Easter eggs, etc.). Usually she doesn't count past three, but she is starting to grasp the concept of counting, which is really cool. She can also say ABC! She loves the ABC song and requests it often. I wonder how long it will be before this little girl is saying the entire alphabet?? We just enjoy watching her grow and develop so much! She literally brings so much joy into everyday.

Our ultrasound is tomorrow!!! So, stay tuned for the next post to find out what we are having and to get a pregnancy update. It will either come tomorrow evening or on Friday...
