Thanksgiving Holiday

We had a great time in Wyoming visiting Joseph's family over the Thanksgiving holiday. This whole post about "our" experience is really all about Fanny. Pretty much every picture and comment has her in it. As you can see from the pictures, Fanny really enjoyed her first taste of turkey!
Just kidding! Do you really think we would feed our precious 6 month old a big piece of turkey? She did have mashed sweet potatoes for the first time while she was at Nana and Papa's house. At first she didn't know what to think, but now she really seems to like them.

The next picture will show you the effects the turkey had on Joseph. I guess the combination of late nights and helping with early morning chores on the farm had something to do with it too.

Fanny had a great time being entertained by her 2 year old cousin, Milly. Luckily Milly wasn't too jealous of Fanny this time. Milly is definitely ready for Fanny to be older so they can play together. At one point she told Fanny to "Get up!" and was really confused as to why Fanny was just laying there on the floor rolling around, ha ha.

Fanny had her very first SNOW experience over the holiday when Joseph's family went out to find their Christmas tree. She did great! First you will see a video of Fanny being pulled in the sled, followed by some pictures of her in her cute snow suit. Sorry, the video is sideways.

We finally found the "perfect" Christmas tree! By this time Fanny was so tuckered out that she fell asleep. She seemed to like the snow though, and loved being outdoors! The experience of getting the tree was a lot of fun. It's hard though, because I like the experience of going out to find your Christmas tree, but I'm such a fan of a perfect, full, fake pre-lit tree that is not as messy.Snow aside, Fanny found something else she really loves. Four-wheeling!!! Her Aunt Abby drove her around in the kitchen and she just LOVED it! We know what to get her in a year or two!!

Fanny was also having a great time hanging out underneath the Christmas tree trying to get into the presents and touch the tree. She almost succeeded! Next year is going to be really interesting! OK, last picture. Check out this porcelain doll that we found that looks JUST like Fanny!

Just kidding!! It IS Fanny! The drool on her chin gave her away, didn't it? Our daughter is just so darn beautiful! She really is our little doll. We love her so much!
