We had such a fun opportunity to ride on the Heber Valley Railroad with our homeschool group last week. Wanted to do this with the kids for a long time! It really was a blast! And, I got to see some amazing friends of mine from collage, Mario and Ariela, who we stayed the night with before the train ride the next day. Ariela and her children joined us on our field trip. It was so much fun!
Not sure what Nora is doing in these pictures. She is such a poser :).
Cool VERY old train engine! We had a little tour of the train works and a train safety presentation before the ride.
Anthon was having fun! He is very into letters right now. Whenever he sees words printed on something, he has to stop to read each letter.
On board the train, waiting for it to depart. Love the fun smiles :).
Me and my boy. He was having a blast!
We also had some awesome entertainment on the train. This lady played the fiddle, banjo, guitar, and sang for us. So much fun!
Love this sincere smile. She hates her picture taken and I usually only get a pout or super fake smile out of her. Love when she gives me real smiles :).
Such beautiful views!
THIS PICTURE IS MY FAVORITE!!!!! I stuck my camera out the window next to her to get it :).
Enjoying the ride!
This was a fun shot, too.
Standing at the very back of the train looking out.
After the ride, Nora got roped!!
So glad we got to go on this trip. We really enjoyed hanging out with Ariela and her kids. Can't wait to spend time with the Padilla's again. It was TOO short!!
