Halloween & Fall Happenings

 Happy Halloween!!!

The girls decided months ago that they wanted to be Blueberry Muffin and Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween this year. Fanny chose to be Blueberry because her favorite color is blue and she loves books, just like Blueberry! She couldn't stand the wig, though. She kept scratching her head and wanting to take it off. We told her that if she wanted candy she had to wear the wig trick-or-treating. She wasn't very happy with us and couldn't wait to get home. I guess we were kind of mean, but hey, she wanted to be Blueberry Muffin and we paid for the wig, so she was gonna wear it!!

Wasn't she just so cute??!!

The adorable Strawberry Shortcake! She, on the other hand, was ecstatic to wear the wig. Getting candy was more of a motivating factor for her, ha ha!

Beware of picture overload!!! All their expressions and poses were just so fun!

Going trick-or-treating at Daddy's office. This has become a tradition that we have done for a few years now. The girls LOVE it!!

We doubled his snow suit as a costume. What a sweet little bear!

How cute they look from behind. "Two best friends forever!"

Just two more. Their expressions!!!

We have been having a lovely Fall this year enjoying homeschooling and doing a lot of fun activities.
The end of our harvesting. Nora LOVES eating things right from the garden. Her favorites are raspberries and carrots. She even came in the house once with a green tomato half eaten.

We had a lot of fun going to the first annual Pumpkin Festival in Grantsville this year!

Enjoying her cotton candy!

Enjoying his hand :).

He didn't enjoy his first taste of baby cereal, though.

Oh, that face!

We celebrated Joseph's birthday!! I made a cookies n' cream Oreo cookie cake! It was Delicious, if I may say so myself!

Happy Birthday Honey!! We had such a nice time just enjoying the occasion as a family. Anthon wanted a bite of cake. I'm sure he would have liked it more than the cereal.

Instead of carving pumpkins, we painted them. A lot less messy. The girls had fun. Nora started with three colors, but they ended up brown, which she was super proud of. Fanny is obsessed with sad faces, so it was no surprise that she made her pumpkin sad. Not that she is sad, she just likes to go out of the norm and put sad faces on everything instead of a smiley face. I hope she grows out of it, though :). I like smiles!!

Had to end with this adorable picture!

Oh, and a cute video I took of Nora reading a fun little book I printed out for Halloween (turn up the volume):
