I know it has been a while since I've blogged, but man, I just haven't been up to it lately. I'm now in my third trimester. Yay!! I just went through a pretty horrible bladder infection that was nothing like I ever experienced before. Seriously, it was the sickest I've ever been in my life! I actually ended up going to the hospital to get antibiotics it was that bad. If you know me, I NEVER go to the doctor's, so this was pretty serious. I'm still recovering from it, but baby Anthon is doing great. No signs of preterm labor and his heartbeat is perfect! I'm doing pretty good now, too. Energy is slowly coming back, and other than being a little sore, all the other symptoms of the infection are gone.
Sooo...I thought I would play catch up on the ol' blog. Here are some pictures of the girls dressed up for Purim. We had a small party at home with just our family to celebrate the story of Esther. The girls loved it! I even tried something new and made CHOCOLATE Hamantaschen this year. YUM!!! They were filled with raspberry jam and Nutella. We all really enjoyed those!
Passover was really nice this year. We invited our friends, the Hansens, over for a little Seder. It was pretty abridged, but we had a such a wonderful time! They are such a great family! I even got to use my new Seder Plate that Peerli and Brent bought me last year! It is so beautiful. I love it! I always love Pesach. It is probably my favorite of all the Jewish holidays.
And, of course, EASTER!!! OK, so a lot of these pictures are blurry because my camera is temperamental without the proper lighting and exact settings, but the girls looked so dang adorable in their Easter dresses! Getting both of them to smile, look at the camera, and hold still at the same time for a good picture that isn't blurry is nearly impossible to do :-). We got to spend the holiday in Wyoming with Joseph's family. It was such a great weekend!
I included a couple of the girls getting their Easter baskets (shh, we actually don't do the Easter bunny at our house because I really can't stand him. I just don't feel like he has anything to do with the true meaning of the holiday, our Savior). Nora was pretty excited about the bubbles. This is the only picture I got with Fanny, she was excited about the ice cream shaped sidewalk chalk, but her favorite thing was the Strawberry Shortcake coloring book we got her. She kept running around showing everyone and wouldn't put it down. She just LOVES Strawberry!!

Looks like fun times at your house! I'm sorry you were sick. I can imagine how bad it was if you went to the doctor. I'm glad you're on the mend. :)
Yay! Glad you updated. Sorry you've been sick!
