Mini "Who Do You Think You Are?" Clips

Joseph had a few work trips the past couple months... What kind of work related trips are made in the genealogy business you ask. Well, for Joseph, it usually means filming. Yep, he has once again appeared on the television set sharing family history with others. The gal who usually does a lot of the traveling to represent ancestry.com is pregnant and wasn't able to fly. So, they chose Joseph! One of the trips he made was to be a part of a pilot episode for a new show called "Family Reunions." Not sure if it will go national, but the way Joseph describes it, it sounds pretty cool. Basically it is a reality show where they film a family reunion and try to focus on the joy of family and getting together. It is meant to be very positive and uplifting. As part of the episode they had Joseph present the family with their genealogy and then introduced to them a couple relatives they didn't know they had.

The following two clips that I am adding links to are for these little mini "Who Do You Think You Are?" experiences Joseph did for a couple news anchors in Philadelphia and Orlando to promote the show. Ancestry.com did several of these during the WDYTYA season in major cities all across the nation. For the second one you will have to scroll down after you watch the first video because Joseph appears again to explain a little bit about doing genealogy.

So proud of my husband. I didn't like it so much when he was gone to do these filmings and I was home alone with the girls, but I'm super glad he has such a great job that he really enjoys! He had such great experiences with these shoots. Love that he has had these opportunities.
