One day while we were eating dinner as a family, Joseph and I were in a deep conversation with each other. We realized at one point that Fanny was being pretty quiet, so we looked over at her and found this culinary masterpiece on the table right beside her.
While we were busy in conversation, Fanny kept sneaking food from Joseph's salad plate. The Parmesan cheese is sprinkles, he he. I would have to say that she has quite the aesthetic touch with food.
Just something she created one day with a magnet set we got her for Hanukkah.
And, here is the culinary artist fast asleep at the table after quite the long day of creating.
Oh, and since this post is kind of about food... I thought I would include some pictures of my latest macaroons:
Orange Cream
Salted Caramel
(Couldn't get my caramel to caramelize just right, so the color isn't as amber as I wanted it to be. I didn't really like the color of the macaroon shells, either, but they tasted great!)
Chocolate chocolate!

I saw a picture yesterday that made me think of you. It was a plain white cake covered in coconut, BUT they'd decorated it with macaroons! They stuck different colored macaroons on skewers and put them on the cake instead of candles. I thought it was cute, and it made me think of my macaroon baking friend!
