Halloween

We had quite the Halloween this year. We went up to Star Valley to visit family for the weekend. Friday night was a Halloween party at Grandma Shumway's house. Saturday was carnival, dinner and trunk or treat at "Nana's" church. Then, Monday the 31st, we were back in Utah and I took the girls to Joseph's work where they went around to all of Joseph's coworkers and got candy!! We also ended up taking the girls out Halloween night around our neighborhood. Both of the girls REALLY liked the idea of all the candy this year. In fact, the only way I could get Fanny to wear her costume, particularly her wig, was to tell her that she would only get candy if she wore it, hehe. It worked, though. If that wig fell off, she was screaming for us to put it back on so she wouldn't miss out on any opportunities to get candy.

Fanny was Ariel from Little Mermaid! She chose to be Ariel herself. Isn't she the most adorable little mermaid you have ever seen?! Too bad she wouldn't smile for ANY of the pictures I took of her. Oh well, she still looked beautiful! She had "trick or treat" down really well, and said thank you every time someone gave her candy. It was super cute, especially when she said, "Happy Halloween!"
Nora was an adorable little elephant! We used Fanny's old costume from two years ago. I LOVE this costume! Nora was such a good sport and didn't seem to even notice she was wearing something out of the ordinary.
"Is that delicious piece of candy for me??!!"
Love this shot of the back of Nora. Yes, she is crawling in the picture, but Nora is now walking ALL over the place and is getting super good at it.
Here she is making an elephant sound. It was the cutest thing to hear her make the sound while in the elephant costume. Loved it!
Only good shot I could get of all the cousins (minus Camille) in one picture.
Fanny's BLUE lips after eating a raspberry dum dum, haha!
Just wanted to include these recent pictures of Nora. I can't believe how fast this girl is growing up. She sure is a cutie. I still call her my baby.
I also have to include this video of the girls. Nora is such a little dancer/head banger! She was doing this at dinner, then Fanny tried doing it, too, which made Nora bust up laughing. So funny!
Hope you all had a good Halloween! We sure enjoyed it!! Already can't wait for next year. Halloween is a lot of fun with children!!
