WARNING: There are A LOT of pictures in this post!!!
Joseph's band had four shows at the Lincoln County Fair in Afton, Wyoming at the beginning of the month, so we made a vacation out of it and all went to spend some time with his family. While we were there we not only had the band gigs, but we also had Joseph's ten year reunion and Sarah's little baby, Camille's, blessing. After the blessing we were planning to all go home together, but then decided that since the girls were having such a great time, I should stay there for a few extra days with them. So glad I did!! We ended up doing a lot, but it was so much fun and the girls LOVED staying at Nana and Papa's!! I missed Joseph, but celebrating our anniversary together when I got back made it so worth it!
Here is the WHOLE vacation in pictures:
Enjoying Daddy's band!
I wish our grocery store had little carts for kids. Fanny had so much fun pushing this little one around.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture of Nora!!!
I took some picture of Sarah's baby, Camille, and edited them for her. They turned out way better than any of the baby pictures I took of my girls. I couldn't decide which ones to share because I really liked them all. Camille is SOOO beautiful and sweet!!
Complete LUXURY!!! This doesn't happen very often. Fanny was in HEAVEN!!! This girl is getting quite the sweet tooth. She still has the most amazing discipline I've ever seen, though. She can hold a cookie and nibble on it for hours. If I have a cookie in my hand, it is gone in two seconds!
One eyed Willy enjoying some time at the park.
The swings were a big hit with both girls!!
Day of shopping in Idaho Falls. Not my idea of fun, but it was nice being there with family. The girls enjoyed some down time at the play area in the mall.
Beautiful day and a beautiful hike up to Intermittent Spring.
Mermaid Lagoon!! Love this spot. Joseph's Grandma Shumway used to always tell the kids that mermaids swam in this spot of the stream. They don't like it when you look at them, though :). Traditions like this are great. We told Fanny the same thing. Needless to say, she was fascinated with the idea of real mermaids!!
The ONE picture of myself!!
Love the water!!
The children had LOTS of tea parties. Fanny couldn't get enough. She just LOVED playing with the tea sets, and lining them up!!
Fun times on the trampoline. The girls LOVED this, too. Makes me want to get one for them...
Day at Bear Lake!!!!!
Nora wasn't a huge fan of the bright SUN and all the SAND, but she didn't mind relaxing in the tent.
Fanny acted scared of the beach at first, but, THANKFULLY, she ventured out and tried something new!!! Here she is in stages. First, siting on a towel on the sand:
Next, with her Aunt Emily in the boat:
Then, getting even closer to the water on the floatie:
Actually on the water touching it with her foot! I told her to open her eyes because she was doing the one eyed willy thing. She just shut BOTH her eyes!
LOVE this one!
Nora napping after a tiring day at the beach.
Fanny actually sitting and playing in the sand at the end of the trip.
We had such a GREAT time!! Sure miss all of Joseph's family already. Can't wait to see them all again!!
Here is a picture that I took a while ago that I just had to include. One day Fanny wanted to push Nora in the doll stroller. It was so funny!!
Just a little update: Fanny is still doing okay with potty training, but she will only go pee in her potty now. She will only go poop in her night time pull-ups. It is a little frustrating, but one day she will get it... She is so funny!! I have this app on my phone called "Tom Cat" that is a cat who repeats everything you say. Fanny treats him like he is her best friend. She will take my phone and run around with Tom Cat and talk to him and just giggle when he repeats her. She strolls him around in the doll stroller, gives him spins on our office chair, and will say things to him like, "Come on!! Let's go!! I see you!!" ect. So, I tell people that my daughter doesn't have an imaginary friend, she has a virtual friend :).
Nora is just as cute as can be. She is starting to stand all by herself for VERY short moments. Walking is just around the corner... She also has TWO teeth!! I can't believe her birthday is coming up next week!!!
