Who Do You Think You Are? Season Two

Many of you are aware that Joseph's company, ProGenealogists (now a division of Ancestry.com), did the research for the celebrities on the first season of NBC's Who Do You Think You Are? Well, season two is about to premier on Friday, February 4th at 8/7c, and there are 8 new celebrities this time around that are going to find out some fascinating things about their family history. Joseph has been hard at work for the past several months researching the ancestry for a few of the celebrities that will be on the show this season. The REALLY exiting news is... drum-roll please...

JOSEPH IS GOING TO BE ON ONE OF THE EPISODES!!!

Yes, he is going to be on TV!!! The celebrity he presented research to is Steve Buscemi. If you are thinking, "Who in the heck is that guy?" don't feel stupid. Joseph and I both thought the same thing. When you see a picture of him, though, you realize who it is right away.

He actually just won Best Actor in a Drama Series at the Golden Globe Awards for his portrayal of Nucky in "Boardwalk Empire." Not that Joseph and I are up on this kind of stuff. We never watch TV, literally, but we are big fans of movies. Anyway, this has all been very exciting and super fun for Joseph. He got to go to New York City for the filming where they put him up at a really cool hotel in Brooklyn called Hotel Le Bleu. It is a real urban, high class, artsy type of place. I attached some pictures of his room as well as a few other pictures he took on his trip.

Joseph's room at Hotel Le Bleu.
Some sites in NYC. The first picture is of the archive where Joseph filmed with Steve.
Joseph got to visit Little Italy in NYC.
A couple streets in Brooklyn.
Check out the trash! The garbage trucks were so behind because they couldn't get to the trash due to the snow. Yuck!
Make sure you catch the show. We will for sure let you all know when the episode with Steve Buscemi is going to air. Yay!! How exciting!!!
