Nora is two and a half weeks now. Things are going really well. I had her at home in a birthing tub with a midwife there, just like I had Fanny. I don't really have time to go into many details, but I will just say that it truly was a beautiful experience. I feel great, a little tired from the late night feedings and adjusting to having two children to look after, but otherwise, I really feel good. Nora is quite the nurser. In fact, there are times when she wants to nurse for hours. That can get a little hard because there is not much I can accomplish when she is nursing, but I'd much rather her be a good nurser and sacrifice my time to get house work done than to have a fussy girl. Plus, I love to read and can do so very easily when she is nursing. She really is a great baby. She smiles a lot and is just as cute as can be. Fanny is doing OK with her new sister. She is very good with her and gives her snuggles and helps me by bringing me things for Nora when I ask her to, but she has been rather testy with Joseph and I. That is understandable considering the fact that she has had ALL the attention for the past couple years. She just wants to make sure we are still paying attention to her. That, and she is also two, so you can't expect her to be the calm little girl she has always been. For a while Fanny was calling Nora "the baby" and my stomach was still Nora, but I think she knows now that the baby IS Nora. It is amazing how much Nora has already grown. On her two week check up she was up to 9 pounds. My midwife says they like to aim for their birth weigh at two weeks, so for Nora to be a pound heavier is great! I'd love to write more about the girls, but I have a limited amount of time these days. I'll just add some pictures of Nora that I took recently. Doesn't she look older already? My girls are such cuties!

I'm so glad that everything is going well! I remember the days as a cow. Nursing seemed to take up the whole day. It does get crazier very soon, so enjoy the down time. At least you have a great excuse! :)
