Fanny's Latest

She is just so beautiful, isn't she?! I took these pictures of Fanny in her blessing dress not long ago. It's amazing how a black skirt, a black cardigan and a couple of black shirts can make a backdrop. Voila! Instant home studio! I should become a professional photographer, don't you think? What is really amazing is that Fanny still fits into her blessing dress!
Fanny is just doing so well at seven and a half months. We have such a happy, healthy baby. She is so close to crawling it is not even funny. She gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth A LOT. We expect her to start moving forward at any moment...we'll see though...she has been doing that since before Christmas. I'll have to get a picture or a video of her doing it to put on the blog. It's really cute.
I have such a great time with her during the day. She is really good at "helping" with chores. All you mothers out there can relate to trying to figure out how to "include" your children when getting things done around the house. My favorite are laundry days! Fanny is now too big to lay on top of the dryer. Because she is a rolling machine, it is just not safe to put her up there anymore. So, she gets to sit in the basket. As you can see from the pictures, she just LOVES it!
I'm including a recent video of Fanny so you can all see her in action. This is a video of her playing with the Leap Frog Musical Learning Table we got her for Christmas. You will see in the clip how she sits really well on her own now.
