Yesterday we went to the Church History Museum in Salt Lake City where they have this great children's exhibit that is focused on the Book of Mormon and Latin American culture. The exhibit was AWESOME! There were so many neat, interactive things for kids to do. We weren't sure how Fanny would react, but she ended up really enjoying it!
Here is Fanny "abridging the plates" (aka - coloring).
Playing with wood dolls.
Fanny's favorite part of the exhibit, the fake food! She is really not a big eater, nor does she like to try new things very often, but she had no hesitation in sticking fake food into her mouth. We kept trying to stop her since it was at the end of the day and who knows how many kids played with the food and stuck it in their mouths prior to Fanny playing with it. She loved it, though. We know one thing we are going to get her for her birthday.
My favorite was the dress up area. You could dress up and then watch this fun video of a man and woman dancing to Latin American music in full garb, and then try the steps yourself. I thought Fanny looked ADORABLE in her "dress ups."
