Well, the time has come to say goodbye to Kit, my faithful Chevy Cavalier of 7 1/2 years. I hate to part with her, but a little two door vehicle is not going cut it with two children. It is barley cutting it now. Let me tell you, getting Fanny in and out of Kit while being pregnant has NOT been easy. We actually put Kit up for sale on KSL Classifieds last night and today an interested buyer came to look at her!!! This VERY interested buyer is having her looked at by a mechanic right now actually. If everything looks good, which it should unless there is something we don't know about, then she will buy the car! We are very excited and definitely feel blessed for such luck, but I'm sure going to miss my Kit!
For some more really great news, we bought a Dodge Durango last week and absolutely LOVE it!! OK, so the gas mileage is not going to be nearly as good as the Cavalier's was, but there are so many other perks to this vehicle that we just couldn't pass it up. For one, it can seat up to seven! It is also an R/T model, which is the upgraded model, meaning leather interior, chrome hub caps on the wheels, tinted windows, a more sporty look and a few other things that I can't remember at the moment. Let me just tell you, getting Fanny in and out of the Durango is WONDERFUL!! I love, love, love this car!!! Now we just have to think of a name for it...
