The Real Official Forty Days Site

Last Summer I posted about Joseph's band, Forty Days, having an official website of their own. Well, I guess I was wrong. The "official" site was merely a BLOG that the wives of the band members put together. Now Forty Days has a real OFFICIAL website. Go check it out HERE. Joseph has actually been learning a lot about editing HTML codes and put much of the site together himself. There were some limitations because of the template he used, but a lot of the extra stuff, like the music clips, video clips, pictures and various links, were all things he figured out how to write into the HTML code himself. I don't know if that makes any sense to any of you, but being able to edit HTML codes is a REALLY cool skill!! I'm impressed with Joseph that he has been learning how to do it on his own. When you look at the code it seriously looks like some crazy foreign language.

Anyway, you have to go check out the site. Some things you should be sure to check out while perusing the site are the sound clips of some of their original songs found in the Music & Videos section. Oh, and be sure to click on the File A Complaint option in the Contact section. It is pretty funny where the link takes you. Another thing you could check out is where clicking on the Logo takes you. For most sites it just leads you back to the home page, but Joseph programed it to take you to a really interesting fact about the band.

The wives of the band members will still be adding posts to the blog and will update it regularly as the band starts up their Spring/Summer line up soon. There is even a link from the website to the blog. For those of you that may have seen the Forty Days blog post about the new website a couple weeks ago, be sure to return to the website to catch all the cool new things Joseph added to it. More changes will also be coming down the road as the band has some new pictures taken, so be sure to check back.

Impressive stuff! I've just recently started fiddling around with HTML, and it's pretty tough stuff, so good work!
